Terms and Conditions

Common items in a terms and conditions agreement allow you to:

• Withdraw and cancellations are based on a cancellation schedule. Please see the Return and Refund Policy regarding terms for cancellation of conference attendance and tuition refunds and reimbursements. 
• ISODC and Sacred Heart University are hosts for the conference and neither organization is responsible for the claims of or presented materials at teh conference by speakers, presenters, and exhibitors. Any programs or products purchased or subscribed to with vendors, speakers, or presenters at the conference are agreed to between the involved parties and are not the responsibility of ISODC or Sacred Heart University.  Neither ISODC nor Sacred Heart University provide any guarantee regarding the use and application of any materials, frameworks, methods, or models learned during the conference.  With a few possible exceptions, Sacred Heart University and ISODC are not the originators of the research and contented presented by keynote speakers, workshop instructors, vendors and exhibitors, or conference presenters.
• All content presented at the ISODC ODSHUCON conference and symposium remains the copyright and property of the presenters and instructors. Exceptions apply as negotiated between negotiating parties if Sacred Heart University of ISODC collaborated on teh creation or development of the content. 
• Neither ISODC or Sacred Heart University are responsible for the commercial use of any material used by attendees that was learned or procured during the conference.
• All terms and rules of behavior of Sacred Heart University are applicable for attendees of the conference. Furthermore, ISODC does not subscribe to or permit illegal activity or illegal and/or unethical behavior, including use of illicit substances, possessions of firearms or weapons on campus, violence or violent behaviors, threatening behavior, hate speech, terrorizing of others, ideological hate-derived protest, bullying, spam activity, plagiarism, content or material theft or destruction, and other inappropriate behaviors or actions. Any behavior that meets these definitions will result in removal from the event without remuneration of tuition, and where necessary, the involvement of law enforcement.
